Berlin by night

After reading endless drivel about the terrible high ISO performance of a Pentax K-7 (the exact same drivel that was heard when the Pentax K10D came out), I got motivated to dig out some of my low light photographs and put together a series of night shots from a trip to Berlin in 2008. These were shot by setting the lens to f/2.8, K10D to ISO1600 and letting the image stabilizer do it’s thing. I don’t know if the noise (or “grain”) is film like or not, but I kinda like it. The pictures may not be in chronological order. Click to see a larger picture.
